post surgery, day 2

crazyjaneThe hospital called me today to check how I was doing, which was unexpected and rather nice. Guess that's what happens when you pay through the nose.
They also helpfully informed me that the day after surgery is usually the worst. I'd pretty much figured that out for myself, mind you. The pain is very bad today, and there's just no comfortable way of sitting. Right now I have 60mg of codeine and 200 of tramadol in my system, and, though I'm kinda spacy, it still hurts a lot.
Therefore, depression. And really weird thoughts. Bleah.
