Okay, so I'm an experienced editor and proof-reader, can write press releases at the drop of a hat on subjects as diverse as countering anti-pagan sentiment to announcing political party policy on religious education in schools, have some InDesign skills and have worked on projects that range from technical writing to novella editing to political commentary. I'm used to working to deadlines.
Oh, and I have a degree with Honours in English and Religion & Spirituality Studies, with teaching and lecturing experience.
The drawback? I can only work part-time and I mostly need to work from home. Stupid knees.
It's harder than you might think to find tele-commute employment - part of that is the glut of editors out there looking for work, of course. The long and the short of it is, however, that I need to pick up some work to help pay for my upcoming operation, and for ongoing private health insurance.
So LJ, I'm advertising. If you know of any work around that I might be able to do, please let me know.
